Water economy: Morocco to host regional workshop

The Ministry of Agriculture and Maritime Fishing organized on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 a knowledge exchange workshop in Rabat. Supported by the National Institute for Agricultural Research (INRA), the workshop was focused on South-South coordination on water resources and irrigation systems in light of climate change.

This workshop is part of the South-South Partnership Initiative and of the triangular cooperation for agricultural development and improved food security (SSTC-ADFS). It aims at enabling the exchange of knowledge and experiences on successful local solutions in the field of water resources and irrigation systems in response to climate change, as well as in relation to the contribution of agriculture to improved food security.
