The Mediterranean as a mutual opportunity

If we consider the Mediterranean as a mutual opportunity for the north and south, as a gateway to Africa and not as a widening gap within the European continent, then there could be a real "Mediterranean " .
 
Over the past decade, environmental awareness and mobilization for sustainable development have progressed in Europe, as well as in the Mediterranean, the Middle East and Africa. New ways of development and cooperation have been devised, particularly in North Africa and the Middle East.
 

After the success of COP21, and a few months from COP22, to be held in Morocco, climate issues continue to mobilize energies and consciences. It became essential to continue building, in the words of President Hollande, a "Mediterranean project, useful for people on both sides", encouraging all initiatives that can accompany the transitions that these emerging countries are facing: the Mediterranean is indeed the world region where all transitions intersect, collide and complement, whether democratic, economic, technological and environmental.
