Hack4Impact: sustainable agriculture in Morocco
The first hackathon on sustainable agriculture ended in Rabat on Sunday, September 18 after 3 days of pitching, hacking, coaching.
Organized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Marine Fisheries and Impact Lab, a startup incubator with strong social and environmental impact, Hack4Impact gathered for 3 days a community of experts, professionals, entrepreneurs, researchers, students and citizens addressing innovative solutions that can be implemented to develop a sustainable agriculture in Morocco.
After the first pitch session in which 22 participants presented their work, 7 of them got to the final stage. The winners are:
- Masi Gachis: for up-cycling expired products in grand-scale distribution;
- Antehia: an app that facilitates the management of green houses and of irrigation;
- Beldia: for the production of frozen mallow flowers.
