Sustainable consumption and production in Palestine

Palestine has closely assessed the status of Sustainable Consumption and Production (SCP) and produced a report with the support of the EU-funded SwitchMed programme. The report highlights strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats, and various initiatives, in addition to the roles of the national stakeholders. The SCP assessment will be the milestone upon which an SCP national action plan will be developed.

The present SCP assessment for Palestine is deemed to be the beginning of the work in Palestine in the field of Sustainable Consumption and Production. It handles the status of the concept in terms of the national policies as well as the initiatives and enterprises implemented to serve this concept.
