Jordanians and Syrians working together in host communities.
Since the start of the Syrian crisis, more than 639.000 Syrians have registered as refugees in Jordan. 81% of Syrian refugees live in host communities. The cost of food has increased and job opportunities for Jordanians and Syrians are lacking.
To promote food security and nutrition in host communities, ACTED provided agriculture and nutrition trainings, and distributed technical inputs. In total, 550 vulnerable Jordanian and Syrian households already benefited from the project, reaching more than 3.000 beneficiaries.
