The main objective of the project is to produce, by improved breeding technologies, novel high-quality and added-value varieties of seedless, out-of season and long shelf-life table-grapes. The project has already yielded highly priced new grapes, sold world-wide all year round and providing additional source for labor demand and income in the agriculture sector in several countries. |
