What is Accelerate MENA?
Accelerate MENA is an initiative to empower local innovators in the MENA region to develop sustainable solutions to some of the world’s toughest challenges: “Production & Consumption” and “Energy”. Together we work towards the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Why are we running Accelerate MENA?
We believe entrepreneurial action through responsible and inclusive business models are key to solve global pressing problems. That’s why we want to empower local innovators to leverage their creativity, collaborate and create new solutions. We do this through three core elements:
- Inspire – inspire individuals to create impactful solutions that have a positive impact.
- Connect – connect the local ecosystem within and between Jordan, Tunisia and Germany.
- Enable – enable an entrepreneurial mindset to create new business solutions.

How might we empower the future of renewable energy in Tunisia?
How can we increase the share of renewable energy (derived from hydropower, solid and liquid biofuels, wind, the sun, biogas, geothermal and marine sources, and waste) in Tunisia's total final energy consumption? With you, we want to build a green, energy efficient and thriving economy in Tunisia!
