Algeria, Portugal to implement MoUs on water and environment

Minister of Water Resources and Environment Abdelkader Ouali and Portugal’s ambassador to Algiers Carlos Oliveira agreed on the implement the Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) on water and environment inked between the two countries, announced Thursday the ministry in a communiqué.   

During a meeting between Ouali and the Portuguese ambassador, both parties agreed “on the implementation of the recommendations made during the 3rd meeting of the joint working group, which particularly relate to the implementation of cooperation mainlines included in the two MoUs signed in 2010 (on water resources) and 2015 (on environment) respectively,” said the same source.
