Traditional Olive Oil Extraction

The Ibn Zuhr University is developing a new vegetable water treatment technology.

The Laboratory of biotechnology and enhancement of natural resources and the laboratory of microbial biotechnology and protection of vegetables of the Faculty of Science, Agadir (University Ibn Zuhr) have developed a new method of liquid organic waste treatment from the extraction of olive oil.

According to a statement from the presidency of the University, this innovation, conducted in partnership with the University of Marseille, is part of the work of the fourth edition of the scientific event " School Search " recently organized by the Faculty of science of Agadir under the theme "Biodiversity and biotechnology in the service of society."
