Pierre Rabhi: laws of nature, food security and agroecology

The laws of nature are the solutions to the climate challenges that the planet in facing.

These challenges translate in resource scarcity, food insecurity as well as political insecurity. When it comes to agroecology, they are related to water management, reforestation, the fight against erosion, biodiversity and other dimensions.

It is very difficult to separate the name of Pierre Rabhi from the concept of agroecology. The French of Algerian origin philosopher and organic farmer is particularly close to Morocco. Here he co-founded a firm dedicated to spreading good practices in agriculture and to provide the necessary autonomy to small farmers while ensuring the equation between their self sufficiency and the relliance of their land to climate change. In November (4, 5 and 6) Pierre Rabhi will travel to Marrakech, Casablanca and Rabat to further explain why it is important to make organic farming a worldwide practice.
